HiFonics Triton TR Speaker Systems
With the new TRITON loudspeakers, HiFonics offers sonically outstanding sound solutions, which convincingly combine attractive design and shallow basket depths. Neat custom grille frames with metal-look, black high gloss poly cones and high value rubber boots as magnet protection, round off the unique appearance. While the designing process of these speakers, special attention was paid to achieve a full and round sound with a high efficiency rate, despite the lower basket depth. The great sounding component systems come with high-resolution 25 mm silk dome tweeters, which supply together with the elaborate crossovers perfectly sounding heights. The 12dB crossovers are, common for HiFonics, furnished with a 3-step tweeter level adjustment. The coax and triax models are equipped with 13 mm and 55 mm mylar tweeters (the Triax TR693).

JL Audio announces their TW3 car subwoofer line up – available in 12-inch and 10-inch sizes – which deliver a powerful combination of shallow mounting depth and amazing excursion capability.
JL Audio’s patented thin-line woofer technology compresses the architecture of the TW3’s using a “concentric tube” structure built into the injection-molded cone body. This structure supports the voice coil and a full annular spider, while permitting the placement of the large motor structure further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs. The JL Audio TW3’s are optimized for small enclosures and offer the company’s tab-ear mounting design to maximize cone area within their mounting footprints.
