The EMMA Eurofinals and CarMediaWorld in Salzburg have been a great experience for all, even not all friends couldn´t attend.
After an unintended two-year break, the leading get-together of the international car media industry is picking up speed again. True to the motto “Tune the Sound in your Custom Car!” the CarMediaWorld kicked off this year’s mobile infotainment season as part of the “Customized” show at Salzburg’s Exhibition Center. From April 28th to 30th, leading manufacturers and distributors of the car media industry presented their innovations and trends. Suppliers of than 50 brands were present with their innovations and show cars. Several dozen EMMA competition vehicles were also ready for a sound check by trade fair visitors and the specialist audience.
Finally, the EMMA European Championship caused again enthusiasm beyond the scene. Car Media enthusiasts from almost all over Europe drove up with their top-notch sound quality vehicles and made this year’s Eurofinals a long time desired mega event and a bunch of more than 50 newly licensed head judges had the chance to grab their rulebook and check Europe’s best sounding competition cars. For the final honoring of the winners on Saturday, 70 European Champion and Vice-Champion trophies were awarded and applauded by a thrilled community.
After the busy Friday, an evening get-together gave exhibitors the opportunity to meet their business contacts and the international EMMA community in a relaxed environment.
The EMMA as initiator of CarMediaWorld and EMMA Eurofinals is leaving the exhibition center after this weekend already looking forward to the next event in Salzburg. Tuning, show & shine, an enthusiastic trade fair audience and completely satisfied exhibitors – the new start for the EMMA event formats was an absolute success!
A big thanks to all visitors, sound-off competitors, the EMMA event-family and special thanks to the team at Messecenter Salzburg, who has created an inspiring show format with future potential. In connection with the harmonious weather, they all inspired that weekend of mobile infotainment and music enjoyment.
During the ceremony a table with the signs of dozens of competitors and officials of EMMA was auctioned and over 1000 Euro came together for the support of victims of the war in Ukraine. Thanks to all for that and specially Stefan Geltl who initialized that idea.
