GZ brings 40kilo Limited Plutonium Woofer as a Limited version of 333 pieces.
There is no doubt that GZ´s Plutonium subwoofer line stands for “State-of-the-art” subwoofers, which are hard to beat in performance and technology. Uncountable world records, world champion winners in SPL competitions, several EISA awards and Test winners in international car audio magazines were making these subwoofers famous all over the world.
And as in every year, GZ is creating a Limited product with extraordinary features and price, in 2014 it will be the “GZPW 15Limited” available from end of November. For the global market, only 333 pieces will be produced. This real heavy weight comes with a massive high efficient motor and was developed over a 12-months period with Ground Zero owned KLIPPEL® System. Continuous optimization led to the perfect power handling of 5000 Watt RMS (!) power. It’s machined and black anodized steel parts and the heavy triple magnet, covered with a GZ rubber boot, supplies more than enough power to the high temperature 100 mm / 4” CCA flat wire voice coil with 2 x 1Ohm. GZ added an intelligent cooling structure for this special motor integrated in the yellow aluminum cast basket.
Beside all these facts, it is worth highlighting the reinforced non-pressed paper cone, which is weight-optimized for highest efficiency. This cone is stitched to the U-shaped high-roll Sandwich surround with yellow thread. In combination with the progressive 4-layer spider, that surround allows an impressive linear X-Max of almost 60 mm / 2.36”.
