After massive flooding that hit Jakarta in the beginning of this year, finally EMMA Indonesian first round was taking place smoothly even though the schedule had been delayed.
The first round of EMMA Indonesia 2013 was held in Jakarta on June 1st – 2nd 2013 with total 74 participants. Because of the fact that Indonesia has many islands some competitors had to drive many thousands of Kilometers to reach the capital city. Even they have to cross the whole country to reach the venue didn’t damp their spirit to compete.
The 2 days event went on smoothly and successful because of huge assistance from many sides. A Special thanks to the invited foreign EMMA Judges – as there have been Mr. Raveeroj (Thailand), Mr. Chutai Pholsuwan (Thailand), Mr. Sanit (Thailand), Mr. Bob YK Chan (Singapore), and Mr. Roy Cheng (Singapore). They took the long trip to support the local Indonesian Judgeteam. Of course also a big thanks to all sponsors that have supported the first Event of the season and also a great welcome to our new EMMA Indonesia sponsors SCANSPEAK, FLUX & SONY.
This is only the beginning, and the EMMA Team and the competitors are looking forward for the next battles on the competition field.
