Santa Pod the home of the UK drag racing scene (straight line quarter mile, not to be confused with….) and the annual car festival “ULTIMATE STREET CAR” was our host for Round 4 of the EMMA UK competition.

Fantastic Show , Great Atmosphere , The Best Competitors. Big thank you to Kicker Uk very own Jon Griggs for hosting the trophy presentation , very close competition, huge well done to all.The highest sound score of the event was achieved by Brett Hubbell with his BMW scoring 274 on sound, the Judge ever so impressed with the amazing detail in the midrange.
Competition so close:
Sound Quality category M Unlimited continues to be ultra-competitive with a new problem… this weekend saw a tie that required 3 tie break checks, Peter Steinbacher and Kevin Hall were tied at 263 points, so it went to tonality where they both tied, then on to the staging, both tied and then on to listening pleasure where Kevin achieved the higher score and took first place position. Well done to both competitors
Team VIBE came away with a nice collection of silver ware 7 trophies in total 4 x 1st place , 2 x 2nd place , 1 x 3rd place well done Jon , Marcio , Tom , Steve & Cristian.
Team Kirton grabbing 5 trophies on the day with a very impressive 4 x 1st 1 x 2nd great result for this Husband & wife Team.
Liam Bass Bradley from Team Blade ICE getting his very first 160db reading , unofficial but still what a massive achievement to a very elite club.
Winners Take All:
Over in SQ Skilled 4000euro after a great performance from Carl Townshend & Pritesh Patel (Team Platinum In Car) they will be heading into Round 5 “Winner Take All” both sitting on 36 points each going into the last event. As well as Mr Chips & Daniel Kirton both tied on 24 going into Master OEM
Round 5 is shaping up to be very interesting. With 8 out of the 20 UK Championships already determined due to such a strong performance so far this season the other 12 are all to play for.
Round 5 will be a one day event with all judging happening on the Saturday. Saturday night will be the awards ceremony and a dinner/disco/drinking-games/arm wrestling/sleeping outside the hotel, for friends/family/non-competitor tickets to the dinner, please contact Roo in advance for catering purposes @ info@emma-uk.com
