This past weekend held their second competition round. For All categories Including SQ, ESQL, ESPL, and Inhouse competitions from our Presenter and Main sponsor. in total the event had 67 entries. Not only teams from Thailand but first time competitors from India joined the competition.
The competition was held at the Brio Salaya Sai 4 which also will be the venue for EMMA Asia Final Thailand Stage in November.
The judges came from all over Asia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand, leaded by the Thailand Head Judge Prapasakorn Bhucksasri AKA Jino. The teams had two busy days with lots of excitement.
The next qualifying round will be on 28-29 September, last chance to qualify for both Thailand and Asia Final, at the same venue.
Interesting story about the Team from India: Team RM Cardecor from India joined the national competition since QR1 in may with 2 cars. They have friends who live inThailand so using their cars to compete by having the installation teams which consist of 5 person including the Boss himself, Mr.Mohamed Imran, flew in to build the 2 cars. Both cars was awarded trophies in both events. There is a rumor that he has purchased a new Car to build from the ground up getting ready next event so that can be qualify for finals. that is remain to be seen. A real cooll story about the spirit of EMMA all accross the borders.
