The Vietnam leg of EMMA Asia Finals 2024 wrapped up successfully after a dynamic day of competition, despite challenging weather conditions. The event showcased the dedication of 22 competitors across 40 categories.
Northern teams, including Rebec Car Audio, CNT Car Spa, and Scar Workshop, traveled from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, overcoming logistical challenges and costs to participate. Meanwhile, southern teams such as Ground Zero Vietnam, Phi Long Auto, Autobis, Saigon Car Audio, and ProAuto Vietnam demonstrated thorough preparation, arriving a day early to optimize their vehicles’ detailing and readiness for the competition.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Ngô Kỳ Lam, Head of EMMA Vietnam, expressed confidence: “With thorough preparation and improved strategies, I believe our competitors have a strong chance of surpassing last year’s achievements.” He also thanked Carpla Tân Phú, the venue sponsor, for their invaluable support.
In a break from tradition, judges conducted pre-competition inspections of each vehicle’s equipment before the Sound Quality category, ensuring a smooth start to the competition.
During the closing ceremony, Mr. Lam presented commemorative plaques to the judges and competitors, recognizing their hard work and contributions to the event’s success.
Looking ahead, the EMMA Asia Finals 2024 will continue through Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Singapore, with the grand finale and awards ceremony scheduled for November 28 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
