On the international Head Judge seminar, March 20/21 it was decided to make the ESQL Master category to an official competition format of EMMA. ESQL master is an official international EMMA competition format valid from April 1, 2013. The ESQL judging procedure will not take place before the regular judging procedures in SQ, MM, ESPL and EMMA racing is finished.
The judging procedure will be in front of the audience.
A competitor is eligible to compete in this category if he/she meets all of the following criteria:
– The car has to be registered and must be able to drive by its own engine
– At least a driver´s seat must be installed (a car-seat, not a bench or a piece of wood to sit on)
– The audio system can be installed by a professional installer
– Modified or self built equipment is allowed
– There is no limit on the voltage (so it can be higher than 14,4V)
Judging procedure:
- · Installation check according to the matrix in the rulebook Master category
- · Measurement with open doors. Mic on the ESPL position
- · Tonal Accuracy and Spectral Balance check 5 meters behind or beside the bumper of the car. (Track 9 + 11 )
- · Listening Pleasure to be checked by competitors personal CD.
- · The volume will be at moderate level
The summary of all results will be counted together.
