ETON is known for its Plug and Play SoundUpgrade range, for several years ETON has been the market leader in terms of full integration and custom-fit speakers. Now the range is extended by the VAG 14 Universal 145 mm (6″) bass-midrange driver,
this is the birth of a whole upgrade series for all current V.A.G. models.
Several current V.A.G. models (VW Golf 8, VW T6.1, VW Polo V and many more) are equipped with a 145 mm woofer. The newly developed midrange/bass driver impresses with its 2-layer fiberglass paper cone known from the POW series. This extremely stiff and damped cone is notorious for its high level performance as well as its warm and full-bodied sound character. Dynamic, massive punches are possible with this. The smaller cone area of just 145 mm is compensated for thanks to a strong ferrite magnet system and the newly developed long excursion surround, so the new VAG 14 is in no way inferior to a conventional 165 mm woofer. Crisp, dynamic and contoured bass response and tuned for the long haul. Thanks to the elaborate design and tuning, the VAG 14 can be integrated into various vehicles from large (VW Transporter T6.1) to small (VW Polo V).
The highly elastic voice coil with the permanently elastic centering allows low-distortion reproduction even at high levels! The newly developed plug and play speaker baskets made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic are extremely torsion-resistant and guarantee a 100% fit. The speakers have the VAG specific connector plugs and have an optionally usable low-pass cable crossover with in the set, which leads to optimal tuning in your vehicle as well.
