GZ launching another two new Competition drivers in 6.5 inch
After the tremendous success of GZ´s recently launched 6.5-inch competition products, another two very specialized competition drivers in the same size are on the way to the market: The extremely flat GZCM 6-4FX midrange and the GZCK 165SPL kickwoofer.
The GZCM 6-4FX was created to complete the line-up of extraordinary competition mid-woofers. With only 52 mm (2.05″) mounting depth and the 165 mm (6,5″) steel basket compliant to Euro-DIN dimension, this new driver can be installed easily in various locations, even in original OEM positions in case needed.
The combination of its lightweight fiber reinforced paper cone and the high efficient 20 Oz magnet moving a high temperature 38 mm / 1.5″ EISV-CCAW voice coil is the remarkable efficiency of 94 dB and a smooth performance from 200 to 5000 Hz.
The second brand new driver is developed for far lower frequencies and a real punchy mid bass: The GZCK 165SPL! It´s soft, high roll foam W-surround in combination with the stiff pressed paper cone results in an excellent performance starting at 50 Hz with an efficiency of 93 dB. The massive 25 Oz magnet is moving a high power 38 mm / 1.5″ EISV-CCAW voice coil, capable of handling 250 Watt max. All together is mounted to the yellow painted steel basket with Euro-DIN dimensions.
Both of the new competition line products will be available in December 2015.
