But after a long way of engineering includes countless evaluation steps using Ground Zero´s own Klippel system, the brand new mid woofer GZNK 165SQ became a super efficient and outstanding driver. It´s coated paper cone allows a nearly distortion-free performance up to 3000 Hz and the 36 mm / 1.42″ copper voice coil in combination with the high-tech connex spider works 100% linear in an optimized motor with integrated copper cap for additional distortion reduction and impedance linearizing.
After having done such an amazing mid bass, the next challenge has been the tweeter which basically can be defined as a triggle-down technology of the famous Plutonium Line Tweeter GZPT 28SX which in combination with its Plutonium family drivers recently has been awarded with the EISA award. Using the same motor and inner structure, the same dome material and the 2- layer dome coating, the Nuclear Tweeter was scaled down to 25 mm / 1”. As a result of such high end Engineering, the “GZNT 25SQ” was born and outperforms even most of the 28 mm / 1.1” tweeters in the market.
For the launch of these extraordinary products in October 2014, Ground Zero will offer a limited Nuclear speaker 2-Way passive configuration which includes not only a high end crossover with Mundorf Mcaps, MOX resistors and multiple adjustment possibilities but also comes in a precious German made wooden box.
