Despite the unfriendly weather there was a lot of fun, excitement and professional exchange going on at the German EMMA final showdown 2019, which wasn’t only a meeting point for national competitors. Guests from the UK, Austria, Italy and the Netherlands completed the competitor’s field of 85 during this first autumnal October weekend in Leipzig. The location in front of a huge shopping mall, called Nova Eventis, was crowded and even if the weather was calling for outdoor wear and hot beverages the atmosphere was fantastic. The also international judge team finished their work at 17°° on the dot, giving the signal for all to go to the Restaurant close by to have Dinner and afterwards the award ceremony. The ceremony was emotional, and also the foreign guests had reasons to celebrate outstanding results – which also means that the German competitors will have some work to do for the Euros in March. All Trophies for the finals were sponsored by Audiotec Fischer who brought a brand-new concept car with fantastic sound based on easy to install OEM processing. The event, and also the last qualification round the day before at the same place was very well organized by Team Horsch und Guck who did a great job and received great respect from all people. All in all the season in Germany went very well with increasing numbers of competitors and an also increasing enthusiasm to promote the Sound Off scene. Thanks to all who helped, especially our Dutch friends Angel, Nicole, Ronald, Didi and Jeroen for coming over to celebrate the season´s final.
