Already the third time Audio Design, Germany´s Rockford Fosgate Distributor, organized a great event around a huge Shopping Mall in Karlsruhe. More than 2000 cars came even if the weather was a kind of untypical for this period of the year. After a morning and noon with perfect weather conditions it was raining all afternoon and heavy wind was blowing. But the weather forecast could not keep 47 car audio aficionados to compete at the EMMA Sound Off. Many competitors from the last season showed up but and most had rebuilt or modified their sound systems so that a comparison with the previous results was quite challenging. But it was noted by the EMMA judge team that the overall level of the systems and the installations is steadily growing. As a resume EMMA the conclusion is that already on the first national event the quality gap between the cars is not that big. It seems to become a very challenging season for the competitors and also for the Judge Teams. Challenging??? Let’s better say: Promising!
