With a remarkable season showdown the German EMMA community celebtrated its national finals on the first weekend of September in Germany’s South. Host of the event was the well-known Car Audio Specialist Jürgen Fischer, who was excited about the huge audience that came from all over the country plus some special guests from Croatia, Holland and the United Kingdom. On Friday over 60 participants were on site and almost 100 starters attended the finals. The team in Stein, consiting of Jürgen Fischer, his wife and a lot of helpers and friends, was again very dedicated to organize a thrilling long weekend for the community. The highlight of the amusement was, as in the previous years, the huge cake buffet which enthused all guests on Saturday afternoon.
A great number of new participants came to Stein – at this point special thanks to the commitment of David Wester and Wolfgang Fischer – attracted the audience and the jury. Some of the new starters even gained surprisingly good competition achievemnts. In the larger classes, however, the trophies were made up between the usual suspects, some with superficial results. Thanks to the professional back-office team – Angel from Holland and Anja from the team Horsch and Guck – a point landing was laid and the award ceremony could start at 18:30. With some surprises in the placements it ended shortly after 19 clock, when a large part of the guests met for a relaxed a get-together in the Neckarsulm Brauhaus. Numerous discussions started and some ideas have been developed to improve the EMMA events and to attract new people to join this great community, which has its unique event highlight in Salzburg in March.
