This is not only ensured by the inner life of the two sound tuners but also by the associated professional and user-friendly DSP PC-Tool software. With its numerous setting options, it assures an ideal sound adjustment even under unfavorable conditions in the vehicle.
Inside, the sound artist HELIX DSP.2 features a powerful, latest generation audio DSP with 64 Bit resolution and breathtaking processing power of 295 MHz and 1.2 billion MAC operations per second. The connections also leave no desires unfulfilled: six RCA and six highlevel inputs with ADEP circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection), an optical SPDIF input and eight RCA preamp outputs with max. 6 Volts output voltage facilitate most flexible system concepts.

remely powerful 64 Bit audio DSP, together with state-of-the-art DA and AD converters with 32 Bit resolution, is responsible for the outstanding sound characteristics of the DSP PRO MK2. The improved internal power supply as well as the increased maximum output voltage of 8 Volts contribute to the enhanced sound quality of this stunning processor. Further innovations are the ADEP circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection) in the highlevel input for circumventing factory-made loudspeaker diagnostic systems, an “Auto Remote” switch for activating / deactivating the automatic turn-on feature of the highlevel input as well as the software controlled switching between the optical and coaxial digital inputs. Another innovation is the completely revised software. Thus, an allpass filter option is integrated, the adjustment range of the time alignment is significantly increased, and switchable sound options for the DA converters are implemented.
The HELIX Extension Card slot (HEC slot) enables to upgrade the HELIX DSP.2 as well as the DSP PRO MK2 with further interfaces such as a Bluetooth® audio streaming module or a high resolution audio USB sound card.

It now adapts graphically to all font sizes, screen dimensions and resolutions. Windows tablet users also benefit from a touch screen optimization.
