NAKAMICHI PARTNERS WITH JAPAN AUDIO SOCIETY ON HI-RES CERTIFICATION
Nakamichi JAPAN is introducing the newest Digital Signal Processor to their NDSR lineup with the NDSR350A Hi-Res DSP with built-in amplifier. The NDSR350A has been designed with 12 channels to allow for a wide variety of aftermarket sound integrations as well as time correction and equalizer tools to fine tune the acoustics within the vehicle.
The Hi-Res Audio certification presented by the Japan Audio Society (JAS) stands for high-resolution analogue and digital recording, reproduction and signal transition process that fulfills the minimum of 96kHz/24bit processing as well as amplification and speaker performance of 40 kHz or above.
The NDSR350A is designed from the ground up to be Hi-Res capable, while carrying on features from the NDS series of DSPs which include ease of installation with OEM or factory systems with a selection of customized OE fit cables, Nakamichi head unit, or any other compatible brands of aftermarket head units.
The NDSR350A also comes with a built-in amplifier providing 10 channels of output power (RMS 2CHx80W, 4CHx40W, 4CHx25W @4Ω) for installations without requiring an external amplifier, just add on a Nakamichi active subwoofer and you are good to go.
The included Nakamichi remote control with large control knob can be installed cleanly on the vehicle’s dashboard for easy volume and bass adjustments and source selection. Music can also be streamed using the NDSR350A’s Bluetooth® connection, bypassing the head unit altogether.
The NDSR350A includes PC and smartphone control for real-time, tuning adjustments and includes wireless tuning by using Bluetooth® through the smartphone app. The “Nakamichi” smartphone app or PC software are available online at Nakamichi’s official website. (www.nakamichicaraudio.com).
With 31 bands of adjustment for each individual channel which can be individually labeled within the PC software for easy identification and adjustment, as well as crossover filters (Linkwitz–Riley, Butterworth, Bessel) the “Nakamichi” software is a full-fledged tuning software designed to establish the ultimate sound experience.
