Finishing off the Ground Zero series of Radioactive SPL subwoofers is the biggest and most powerful one ever – the GZRW 46SPL. This 46cm/18” monster, like the other models in the series, is German engineered for the “bass head on a budget”. The 46SPL features a cast aluminum vented basket, painted in Ground Zero’s gloss yellow. The reinforced pressed paper cone is curve linear for added strength, and it’s stitched to the U-shaped surround with matching yellow thread. Other top side features include a convex IMPP dust cap with embossed logo and a foam gasket, making this SPL woofer easy to mount reversed and show it off. An amazing impression does the GZRW 46SPL motor, which is chrome plated and with stamped logo and PVC magnet boot.

For strength and durability, the 46SPL uses dual Connex spiders to control excursion. Power gets delivered through the black-chrome terminals to the 75mm/3” dual 2-ohm Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) voice coils that are wound on an aluminum former for better cooling and strength. Power handling is 2000 Watts RMS. The Radioactive 46SPL is versatile and works well in sealed, ported and even band pass enclosures, making it perfect all applications and types of music.
