Pioneer introduce a new range of speakers and subwoofers that match powerful sound with solid build
Pioneer announces its new line of TS-A Series Speakers and Champion Series Subwoofers, combining top-quality technology and robust design with clear sound and powerful bass.
The TS-A speakers employ innovative technology that produces a loud and clear-cut sound, with a newly designed grille and cosmetics that give the TS-A Series a solid look, making them an ideal fit to any car. The 2012 Champion Series subwoofers were redesigned to improve sound response, transmission efficiency and reliability for deep, powerful and controlled bass.

TS-A Series speakers
Pioneer’s new TS-A speakers are designed to meet the preference for loud and powerful sound. The line-up employs a multi-layer mica matrix (MMM) woofer cone and new diaphragm for the highs, both made of exceptionally light materials that can efficiently produce high-frequency and speedy sound. The material also
produces an extremely rigid cone with low mass, which results in exceptional sound performance while maintaining high sensitivity. A revised magnetic circuit used on the 6×9” models
results in even more power and loudness. All new speakers from the line offer increased nominal power handling for better reliability.
The TS-A speakers have been upgraded to use an external crossover instead of an internal one. The result is that there is no limitation on space to better utilise components inside the crossover itself, whilst still maintaining a competitive price point.
Aesthetics of the new speakers are enhanced with the unique texture of the MMM cone material that stands out against the redesigned cosmetics, revitalising the look of any door or parcel shelf when installed.
The TS-A speaker line-up is comprised of the following models:
6×9”: TS-A6924I (4-way, 550W), TS-A6923IS (3-way, 500W), TS-A6923I (3-way, 400W)
Coaxials: TS-A1323I (3-way, 300W), TS-A1723I (3-way, 300W)
Component sets: TS-A172CI (2-way, 350W), TS-A132CI (2-way, 300W)
Champion Series subwoofers
Pioneer’s new Champion Series subwoofers, TS-W260D4, TS-W260S4, TS-W310D4 and TS-W310S4 are constructed using the latest materials to improve on accuracy and response. By reinforcing the lightweight IMPP composite seamless cone with Abaca fibre, which is light and flexible yet dramatically durable, the subwoofer can provide louder bass, whereas a revised cone structure results in increased accuracy. Additionally, an adjusted spider shape enhances reliability and durability. On the multi-purpose TS-W310 subwoofer both damping and reliability are improved to ensure loud, deep musical bass and extreme durability. The line-up offers single and dual voice coil technologies, guaranteeing ultimate system flexibility for 2 Ohm, 4 Ohm or 8 Ohm applications.
Cosmetically, the large cones feature the classic Pioneer logo underscored with eye-catching red script and a new prism pattern, giving these subs the unmistakable look of a Champion.
