After the event in Manila the team flew over to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to continue the series. At the place, the first competitors started at 6 a.m. entering the CARPLA gates to begin loading and starting work to prepare the best condition for the competition cars.
The atmosphere of urgent preparation, especially the beautification of the vehicles, was in focus of the activities as this is an important part, affecting the results of the contestants. In parallel with the beauty work, the contestants quickly checked in to complete the competition registration procedures. At the same time, TBC also sent the competition kit including the EMMA logo and accompanying instructions.
At exactly 8:30 a.m., the EMMA ASIAN FINALS 2023 refereeing team arrived at CARPLA. Soon after, arbitration work quickly began. The referees took advantage of consultation, as well as agreed on a few rules before proceeding to the opening ceremony. Soon after, the EMMA ASIAN FINALS 2023 event in Vietnam officially opened. Mr. Ngo Ky Lam – representative of EMMA Vietnam held an opening speech and send the best wishes and a remarkable success to the Vietnamese contestants.
As representative of the Organizer, Event Director – Mr. Tony Chen from EMMA Taiwan also thanked EMMA Vietnam for their perfect preparation of the venue.
After finishing the opening ceremony, the organizers quickly implemented the scoring of the Sound Quality – SQ and King of Sound categories. These are the two in-car audio scoring categories, of which King of Sound is the segment with the most contestants, with six out of fourteen contestants of EMMA Vietnam. An enjoyable day and again a step forward for EMMA in Asia.
