POWER T1 Shallow Mount Subwoofer
Need bass but don’t have a lot of space? How about more power handling than your average shallow subwoofer? Well, the T1 “Slimline” subwoofers are not your average shallow, in fact, they have been painstakingly designed to near exact performance characteristics of traditional sized Power T1 subwoofers you’re already familiar with. We’re calling these “slim” subwoofers because they don’t take a lot of depth and offer bass response similar to a traditional sized model. How can this be true? Well, let’s just say the Wizards-of-Fos engineered an ingenious slotted voice coil assembly that exhibits long excursion travel. Don’t worry, you don’t need to understand it, you just have to listen to how awesome they sound!
POWER T2 Subwoofer
This subwoofer is not just another made with off-the-shelf parts, we wanted something better, and we knew our fanatics demand this as well. Since the original Power T2 subwoofer was designed by one of the leading loudspeaker engineers in the world, there were some lofty goals that had to be reached.
Work was done from the ground-up to out-perform its previous family members, while incorporating valuable feedback from our great network of Rockford Fosgate dealers. They wanted it bigger with dual everything and we feel that goal was crushed. Why 16-inches? Well, this is a combination of the cone and surround assembly described as the “total effective radiating area”. Since this model is so massive, we incorporated dual spiders for exceptional travel of the cone assembly. The motor structure also incorporates a new proprietary split yoke for exceptional sonic linearity, while an updated IDHS heat-sink with encapsulating voice coil-to-former coupling technique gives the subwoofer impressive power handling capacity. Top it off with proprietary input terminals for large gauge cables to efficiently deliver the needed voltage, and this subwoofer is ready to drop the doom!
POWER T3 – The Superwoofer!
The Power T3 can rightfully be classified as a “superwoofer” due to its whopping 19-inches of effective radiating cone area! That’s right… we don’t need no stinkin’ 18″ subs … this is for genuine Car Audio Fanatics that want to go BIG like Mannie Fresh. We’re talkin’ Real Big bass and Real Big power handling in a Real Big ride.
The Power 19″ incorporates technologies never before seen in car audio, like the Injection Molded Foam Surround, making the foam strong and durable like a rubberized material. The Edge Wound voice coil allows the windings to be very close with no air gaps so it stays cool for high power handling capacity. We also engineered a very efficient “Push/Pull” voice coil design with a huge Neodymium magnet for a very efficient motor assembly.
