GZ launching new High Power 7×10 Inch speaker with outstanding Performance
There is a reason, why the GZCF 7104SPL has been placed to Ground Zero´s competition line: Strong performance on a very high SPL level! When developing now the successor model GZCF 7104XSPL, those strong points could be even improved.
The first amazing feature is GZ´s exclusive tweeter / midrange panel: Equipped with PTC overload protection, the unit includes a 13 mm / 0.51″ PEI tweeter with neodymium magnet as well as a 13mm / 0.51″ piezoelectric super tweeter for a wide frequency range up to 25 KHz.
Centered between those two, a 50 mm / 2″ high power dipole midrange with a lightweight paper cone ensures highest possible dynamic and spatial sound quality. Furthermore, MKT capacitors are used to ensure highest signal quality.
For the lower frequencies, a total new woofer unit has been developed: The fibre-reinforced and water-repellent paper cone and a lightweight foam surround, allow a frequency response down to 35 Hz. Driven by a powerful ferrite motor, the new driver is able to endure up to max. 300 W with an efficiency of 93 dB. A perfect wire connection is provided by the massive push terminals which are mounted to the yellow painted basket.
Same as it´s predecessor, the GZCF 7104 XSPL can be mounted to any 6×9″ hole using the installation adaptation included.
The new GZCF 7104XSPL is expected to be available from January 2016
