September 23rd, 2021. A huge shift occurred. GAS Audio Power restructured its lineup, introducing MAD, MAX, and CMP. A clear progression from entry-level madness to full-blown competition-grade performance. CMP stands at the very top, a symbol of everything we’ve learned, taken to the absolute limit.
With CMP 24” and CMP 33” already shaking the ground, it was time to introduce a 12” alternative. More compact, but no less extreme.
CMP S3-12D1N & CMP S3-12D.5N are designed for those who demand competition-grade performance in a size that fits more builds, without sacrificing the brutal power that defines the CMP series.
At the core, a supercharged 16-block N52 neodymium motor maximizes efficiency, allowing more power to be converted into pure, undistorted force. The 4-inch 8-layer flat wire voice coil is designed to handle 8000W RMS, and with 80mm X-max, these subs move air like nothing we’ve created before.
But raw power means nothing without control. The reinforced mica pulp cone, combined with a 4-layer Nomex spider pack and mega-roll foam surround, ensures perfect alignment even under extreme stress. Meanwhile, the neo block open cooling system keeps heat in check.
