Venom Illuminator VL 6.3 is one of the many Illuminator series, which consists of a 6.5 inch midbass driver, midrange, and 20.4 mm tweeter, where each driver has an elegant design. As a line of speakers packaged for a passive 3-way system, a crossover module is also included which also uses passive components with a slope configuration which of course has gone through a matching process. From its appearance, the Venom Illuminator VL 6.3 speaker line looks neat and attractive in design, this can be seen from the midbass figure which is dominated by black with carbon fiber material, including the dustcap, as well as the mid driver which is packaged nicely using a grill as a protector. This design concept apparently gives its own “color” to the choice of 3-way speaker type which is of course supported by the sturdy construction of each driver, so it looks luxurious. As for the installation process, VL 6.3 is quite easy and flexible, because the information on the crossover terminal is very clear for splitting to each driver. Even specifically for the tweeter, built-in wiring is prepared to be used directly to connect to the crossover. In sound testing, the VL 6.3 speaker is indeed quite special in producing a natural sound character, so that our ears are pampered with music that is delivered softly but in detail, as if every strain of music and vocals are displayed very clearly. This proves that this passive system configuration is capable of producing sound with low distortion as well as maximizing midrange clarity and optimizing high frequencies.
